Riyadh: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association joined scouts from around the world in celebrating World Scout Scarf Day, observed annually on August 1. On this occasion, current and former scouts wear the official scarf of their national associations as a symbol of pride to strengthen their sense of belonging to the scouting movement and promote its mission of community service.

According to Saudi Press Agency, to mark the day, the association organized a series of symbolic activities, including the display of various scout scarves throughout the main headquarters in Riyadh as part of its efforts to honor and preserve the movement's heritage.

Scout sectors across regions and governorates of the Kingdom actively engaged in the celebration by exchanging greetings and sharing photos and messages highlighting the scout scarf across social media platforms.

The association's delegation currently participating in the 16th World Scout Moot, hosted by the Portuguese Republic, also joined in the celebration by exchanging scarves with participants from other national scout organizations.
