Banban: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has unveiled an environmental protection program at King Salman Wildlife Park in Banban, Riyadh. The initiative was attended by scouts, rovers, scout leaders from various scouting sectors, and involved collaboration with successful partners from relevant government and private entities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mudaris, highlighted that the program represents the scouts' contribution to national efforts focused on environmental protection. He emphasized that environmental scouting activities serve as an educational tool that fosters environmental awareness and encourages positive behaviors among the youth, aligning with sustainable development goals.
The launch event featured numerous public service activities including the planting of seedlings, sowing seeds, and their distribution throughout the park.
