Saudi Scouts Association Engages in Global Dialogue on Scouting Initiatives

Riyadh: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association participated today, via video conference, in the annual meeting of leaders of national scout organizations worldwide, organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, on the occasion of the anniversary of the founder of the scouting movement, Robert Baden-Powell.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the association's participation came as part of the global events held annually on February 22, during which scout leaders gather to review key developments, discuss issues of common interest, and strengthen cooperation among national scout organizations.

The association stressed that its participation reflects its commitment to engaging in global scouting occasions and enhancing its presence on international platforms, contributing to the exchange of expertise and the presentation of impactful scouting initiatives and community-oriented programs.

The meeting addressed several topics related to the role of the scouting movement in youth development, promoting values of service, responsibility, and active citizenship, and underscored the importance of volunteer work as a fundamental pillar in building communities and fostering a culture of peace.
