Abu dhabi: The Saudi Scout delegation participating in the 31st Arab Scout Conference, currently underway in Abu Dhabi, showcased a variety of cultural, artistic, and folk traditions reflecting Saudi identity as part of the 'Arab Day' activities held yesterday alongside the conference program.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi pavilion drew a strong turnout from Arab and international scouting leaders, organizers, members of the World and Arab Scout Committees, and regional scout directors, who explored its diverse cultural displays illustrating the depth and richness of Saudi heritage.
Delegation members presented folk performances featuring artistic displays of national heritage, including demonstrations of traditional games and authentic Arab hospitality. The pavilion also highlighted regional traditional costumes and Saudi cuisine. The Saudi Ardah and several other national folk dances attracted notable attention for their artistic value and historical significance.
The participation reflects the ongoing efforts of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association to promote national heritage in international forums, strengthen the cultural dimension of scouting programs, and reinforce young people's connection to their values and history. It also contributes to enhancing the Kingdom's cultural presence and sharing its diverse heritage with global audiences.
