According to Saudi Press Agency, local farmer Mohammed Hussein's success with the crop serves as a model for preserving agricultural heritage and developing processing industries. Supported by the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef), he has successfully increased production efficiency and ensured the continuity of his farming activities. Saudi Reef continues to support small farmers and diversify the Kingdom's agricultural production base. By enhancing efficiency and food security, it ensures the sustainability of high-yielding, versatile local crops, such as the Al-Hasawi lime.
