RIYADH: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and the Algeria Press Service (APS) have cemented their collaborative efforts with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at SPA's headquarters in Riyadh. This agreement aims to enhance news cooperation and the exchange of information between the two national news agencies. According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was signed by SPA Acting President Ali Alzaid and APS Director General Samir Gaid. The signing ceremony also served as a platform for both parties to discuss various media topics relevant to the newly established framework of cooperation. In addition to the signing of the MoU, Samir Gaid was given a comprehensive tour of SPA's operations. During his visit, he explored several departments, including editorial, new media, photography, television production, and the media center. The APS Director General also had the opportunity to visit Saudi Arabia's History Exhibition, gaining further insight into the cultural context of the host country.
