Riyadh: The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee marked Olympic Day with a celebratory event held at the Olympic Training Center in Riyadh. The event was attended by Vice President of the committee Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, CEO and Secretary General of the committee Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Baeshen, and Japan's Ambassador to the Kingdom Yasunari Morino.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event coincided with the anniversary of the establishment of the International Olympic Committee on June 23, 1894. It featured the participation of committee staff, sports federations, and associations. The activities included a range of sports such as archery, boccia, squash, camel racing, billiards and snooker, table tennis, netball, boxing, e-sports, hockey, fencing, and weightlifting.
