Jeddah: Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Saleh Al-Suhaibani, received Islamic Solidarity Fund (ISF) Executive Director Mohammed bin Suleiman Aba Al-Khail at his office in Jeddah today. The meeting aimed to discuss the ongoing efforts of the ISF as a crucial part of the OIC's humanitarian and developmental initiatives.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ISF is recognized as a significant humanitarian arm of the OIC, playing a vital role in executing various programs and development projects. The discussions during the meeting focused on the ISF's key sustainable initiatives and its emergency funding contributions, particularly in light of increasing humanitarian crises. The fund's support extends to universities, women's and children's empowerment, and the establishment of schools, mosques, hospitals, and youth development projects across Islamic countries and beyond.
