Riyadh: The Saudi National Institute of Health (Saudi NIH) has launched the Relink Network, the Kingdom's inaugural social network specifically designed for health researchers. The initiative is aimed at bolstering health research, fostering innovation, and contributing to an enhanced quality of life, all in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Relink Network will enable researchers to build professional portfolios, gain access to research opportunities, and establish partnerships with supporters. Additionally, it will promote both local and international collaboration, with a particular focus on translational research and clinical trials.
Saudi NIH CEO Fars Alanazi stated that the network is a vital component of the institute's efforts to advance the Kingdom's health research ecosystem. He noted that the network will create a scientific environment conducive to knowledge exchange and support researchers from a variety of disciplines and experience levels. Alanazi pointed out that the network represents a significant milestone in creating a vibrant research community, expediting research and innovation, and consolidating the institute's efforts to achieve tangible improvements in human health.
