Saudi National Football Team Departs for Czech Republic to Prepare for World Cup Play-off

Riyadh: The Saudi national football team departed from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh today en route to Prague, Czech Republic, where it will conduct a training camp. This camp is in preparation for the Asian play-offs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which are scheduled to take place in Jeddah in October. According to Saudi Press Agency, the training camp will include two friendly matches. The first match is set against Macedonia on September 4 at Viktoria Žižkov Stadium, followed by a match against the Czech Republic on September 8 at Malšovická Stadium. The Saudi team is placed in Group B of the Asian play-offs for the 2026 World Cup, alongside Iraq and Indonesia.
