‘Saudi MIB 2026’ Empowers Media Projects, Opens Pathways to Global Launch

General

Riyadh: The Saudi Media Forum launched the 'Mazeej' platform during the second annual Media Innovation Bootcamp 'Saudi MIB2026," one of the media business incubators and accelerators organized as part of the Saudi Media Forum 2026. The launch follows Mazeej's first-place win in the inaugural edition, which introduced a series of innovative media projects developed in a training environment centered on mentorship and practical application.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first edition featured strong competition among young Saudi media ventures, culminating in three projects securing first place across three specialized tracks. The 'Mazeej' platform won first place as the first Saudi platform designed to empower content creators, alongside the AI-driven 'Daqeqa' platform and the 'Vlog KSA' project, which provides a documentary-style experience of a Saudi family traveling across the Kingdom.

The upcoming edition of the bootcamp will be held under the umbrella of the Saudi Media Forum 2026. It will open international participation across three tracks: AI-enhanced journalism, smart content creation, and the smart virtual broadcaster. These additions reflect the rapid transformation of the media industry and its growing integration with advanced technologies.

In its next iteration, the bootcamp aims to expand its global reach, bringing together talent and experts from around the world. It will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas, developing solutions, and building partnerships that contribute to shaping a new media future rooted in knowledge, innovation, and cross-border collaboration.
