Saudi Media Forum 2026 to Highlight How TikTok Shapes News Consumption

Riyadh: Digital platforms, particularly TikTok, continue to transform the media landscape by turning audiences into active participants in shaping the news agenda. The Saudi Media Forum, scheduled to take place from February 2 to 4, will feature two panel sessions examining these shifts and their implications for the media industry.

According to Saudi Press Agency, one session will highlight how the platform is reshaping news production and how media outlets are adapting by producing concise, visually driven content that meets audience expectations while maintaining professional standards.

The second session will focus on the growing role of audiences in shaping media messages, as users increasingly employ accessible digital tools to create content that enriches narratives with diverse perspectives and human stories.

Together, the sessions aim to provide media professionals and industry stakeholders with deeper insight into ongoing transformations in the media sector and help them anticipate a future in which audiences play a more active and participatory role.
