Riyadh: The Saudi junior handball team has completed its preparations for the 11th IHF Men's Youth World Championship, set to take place in Egypt from August 6 to 17. The tournament brings together 32 teams from around the world competing for the title. The Saudi team will face Brazil at 3:00 p.m. today in a Group D match, which also includes Iceland and Guinea.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the team prepared for the tournament through multiple training camps, both locally in Eastern Region and internationally in Serbia, Slovenia, and Egypt. The technical staff concentrated on enhancing the players' physical and technical readiness, while friendly matches were held to strengthen team cohesion and harmony.
This marks the Saudi team's third appearance in the IHF Junior World Championships, following their participation in 2019 and 2023.
