Riyadh: The Saudi Irrigation Organization received an official delegation from the Republic of France, headed by Regional Agricultural Counsellor Stephane Sander, who is accompanied by several officials from the French embassy in the Kingdom. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for cooperation in the water sector and its related fields.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit included presentations introducing the organization's work and future projects, along with specialized briefings on its efforts in reclaimed water and model farms. The program also featured a field tour of the central laboratory and the Julayjilah Model Farm.
The visit supports efforts to promote integration and knowledge exchange, enhance international cooperation in reclaimed water projects, and explore partnership opportunities in agricultural technologies. It also aims to advance technical and investment prospects that contribute to knowledge transfer and the development of water resource management systems in line with national objectives.
