Saudi-Indonesian Roundtable Meeting Discusses Boosting Investment Partnership

Riyadh, A Saudi-Indonesian roundtable meeting took place today in Riyadh in the presence of Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Indonesian Minister of Trade Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, along with distinguished officials from both countries and significant private-sector representatives.

During the meeting, various aspects of investment partnerships were discussed in fields such as energy, healthcare, food, agriculture, human resources, and education. Ways to strengthen and increase investments by leading Saudi and Indonesian companies in both nations were explored.

The meeting also reviewed investment opportunities in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Indonesia and ways to enhance economic and investment ties between the two countries, foster quality investments, and enable the private sector to benefit from investment opportunities in both nations. The meeting addressed potential investment partnerships in various areas of common interest and ways to enhance them.

Furthermore, the meeting witnessed the signing of memoranda of understanding in the human-resources sector, aiming to strengthen strategic cooperation and promote awareness, labor culture, training programs, knowledge exchange, and the provision of technical consultations through seminars and conferences that can be held in both countries.
