Saudi Highway Code Aligns with Road Safety and Sustainability Conference

The Roads General Authority confirmed that the upcoming Road Safety and Sustainability Conference is closely aligned with the Saudi Highway Code. The comprehensive code aims to unify standards and specifications for road design, construction, and maintenance, prioritizing safety and sustainability. The authority emphasized that the Saudi Highway Code will enhance road safety by standardizing safety features, including fuel station entrances and exits. Additionally, the code will contribute to environmental conservation by minimizing noise and visual pollution from road work and promoting innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions. The Road Safety and Sustainability Conference, hosted by the authority in partnership with the International Road Federation, will take place in Riyadh on November 3 and 4.
