Alula: The Saudi health ecosystem secured a special award and 19 medals at the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, held from March 11 to 15. The Saudi pavilion showcased 20 innovative healthcare projects, aligning with the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi National Institute of Health led the accomplishments with a special award and five medals, including two gold medals with honors. Other key entities, such as the Council of Health Insurance and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, also earned medals for innovations in insurance and emergency care.
The Health Holding Company and regional health clusters significantly contributed to the total, winning 13 medals. Gold medals were awarded to clusters in Taif, Hail, and Jeddah, while clusters in Northern Borders, Al-Baha, Qassim, Riyadh, Jazan, and Najran received silver and bronze honors.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that this participation highlights the Kingdom's growing role in global health innovation and its support for national innovators in developing efficient healthcare solutions.
