Saudi Health Minister Meets Indonesian Counterparts to Boost Healthcare Collaboration

Jakarta: Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel met today with Indonesian Minister of Manpower Prof. Yassierli and Minister for Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers Abdul Kadir Karding as part of his official visit to the Republic of Indonesia. The discussions focused on attracting qualified healthcare professionals, enhancing human capital development, and exchanging expertise. The meeting also addressed strengthening cooperation to facilitate Indonesian healthcare workers' employment in both the public and private sectors in the Kingdom, contributing to a stronger healthcare partnership between the two countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, both sides explored opportunities for collaboration in other shared areas and ways to further develop them to serve mutual interests. In support of bilateral cooperation, Al-Jalajel and his counterparts witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on healthcare cooperation between the Healthcare Holding Company, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, and Gadjah Mada University.
