Washington:Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to review strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States. According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on regional political and security developments, including the situation in Yemen. It also addressed the importance of safeguarding maritime security and ensuring freedom of passage through international waterways, particularly the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, to maintain regional stability and support uninterrupted global trade and supply chains. The discussions emphasized the need for ongoing coordination and consultation on mutual interests and diplomatic efforts to resolve regional crises and promote security, peace, and stability.
