Saudi Fans Rally in Force Ahead of World Cup Match Against Spain in Atlanta

Riyadh: The vicinity of Atlanta Stadium witnessed a remarkable presence of Saudi fans ahead of today's match between the Saudi and Spanish national teams in the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi fans gathered in large numbers around the stadium, draped in national team flags, and marched in supportive rallies. These rallies included fans who had traveled from the Kingdom, as well as Saudi scholarship students and residents in the United States, who were seen chanting national songs and carrying flags all the way to the official FIFA fan zone.

The Saudi Press Agency spoke with several fans present, including Khalid Habash, who stated that the rallies reflected a strong sense of national spirit among Saudi scholarship students and residents. He noted that supporting the national team abroad is both a national duty and an opportunity to represent the Kingdom before the world.

Saudi scholarship student Turki Al-Jahani mentioned that fans had traveled thousands of kilometers from across the United States to support the team in Atlanta.
