London: The Saudi Embassy in London organized an awareness event outside its building to celebrate the 2026 International Day of the Arabian Leopard, which is observed on February 10. The event was dedicated to raising awareness about the conservation efforts for the Arabian leopard.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative emphasized Saudi Arabia's efforts to safeguard the species through various programs, including breeding and reintroduction initiatives, as well as support for nature reserves and scientific research. These efforts are in line with the environmental sustainability goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.

Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, expressed that the initiative underscores the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to biodiversity conservation. He highlighted the importance of raising international awareness about protecting endangered species, particularly the Arabian leopard, which he described as an essential part of the Kingdom's and the region's natural heritage.
