Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority Enhances Monitoring in Holy Sites to Ensure Reliable Service

Makkah: The Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority (SERA) continues its monitoring and inspection tours of electricity stations and facilities in the holy sites to ensure their readiness and operational efficiency around the clock. SERA confirmed that its monitoring tours include field visits to electricity service providers' worksites, oversight of operational processes, assessment of service quality, and prompt handling and verification of incoming reports to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

According to Saudi Press Agency, SERA also continuously monitors electrical system loads to ensure they remain within safe limits, oversees compliance with safety requirements, and contributes to resolving any issues that may affect the performance of the public electricity grid. SERA explained that these intensive efforts align with the directives of the Kingdom's leadership, contributing to the provision of high-quality services to pilgrims and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
