Geneva: The education and training ecosystem achieved major success at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2026, winning the Grand Prize, six international awards, and 133 medals, highlighting its commitment to nurturing innovative students, enhancing the Kingdom's reputation in scientific research, and advancing the Human Capability Development Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, students from the Kingdom showcased 14 inventions, earning two special international awards and 12 medals. Notably, Al-Jawhara Al-Qahtani won the Grand Prize and a gold medal with honors, while Sari Al-Qahtani received a gold medal in the 12-15 age group. Other gold medalists included Firas Al-Ghamdi, Fatima Al-Saleem, Raseel Musallami, and Mohammed Al-Amer.
Participating universities and colleges displayed 111 inventions, securing three special international awards, 14 gold medals, 43 silver medals, and 27 bronze medals.
The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation earned one gold and three bronze medals.
The Ministry of Education presented a pavilion featuring 36 educational institutions and 135 scientific inventions, with 73 students and 109 educators participating. The ecosystem also offered training programs to enhance participants' skills and international readiness.
