Alula: The Saudi Dodgeball Federation, in cooperation with the Royal Commission for AlUla, announced the organization of a Ramadan dodgeball event on March 2 and 3, as part of community sports programs accompanying the holy month.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event will take place at Skhirat Stadium in AlUla, in a competitive sporting atmosphere aimed at promoting physical activity and creating an interactive sports environment that brings together various segments of the community, including players, amateurs, and sports enthusiasts. The event will also allow participants of different age groups to experience the sport and learn its fundamentals.
The event will include an exhibition and interactive matches held at 9:00 p.m. during the event period, contributing to spreading dodgeball culture and encouraging community participation in sports activities during the holy month. This supports quality of life and aligns with the sports sector's objectives of empowering the community to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
Dodgeball is among the emerging sports in AlUla and aligns with the sports sector strategy of the Royal Commission for AlUla, which aims to establish the governorate as a destination for various sports.
