Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Collaborates with Sanofi at Boston Convention

Boston: The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) participated in the 2025 BIO International Convention as part of the Saudi pavilion delegation. The convention was held in Boston, US, from June 16 to 19 and is one of the world's premier platforms for biotechnology and health innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, SCFHS highlighted its role as a leading national regulatory body dedicated to developing and empowering healthcare professionals to compete globally through a comprehensive education and training system focused on quality outcomes. It also took part in a workshop that discussed several key topics, including the transformation of the healthcare workforce system, emerging skills in the biotechnology sector, and challenges related to workforce readiness and talent attraction. The commission's participation demonstrated its commitment to building a sustainable health system that supports innovation and keeps pace with the biotechnology sector's growth.

The commission concluded its participation by signing a cooperation agreement with the global pharmaceutical company Sanofi. The agreement aims to develop joint training programs and enhance the exchange of expertise in biomanufacturing, health innovation, and clinical trials. It includes cooperation in capacity building, knowledge transfer, and the development of professional frameworks, supporting localization and the advancement of national capabilities in biotechnology and digital health, in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.
