Saudi Broadcasting Authority and General Presidency for Scholarly Research and Ifta Sign MoU to Develop Sharia-Related Media Content

Riyadh: The Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the General Presidency for Scholarly Research and Ifta to enhance cooperation in developing religious media content. The agreement was signed by Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars and Secretary-General of the Permanent Committee for Ifta and Supervisor of the Office of the Grand Mufti Sheikh Dr. Fahd Al-Majed, and Chief Executive Officer of SBA Ali Alzaid.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU includes cooperation in Sharia review of programs and the production of digital media content based on reliable scholarly references. It aims to support the accuracy and quality of media messaging and promote credible media output.

The agreement reflects efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation between the two entities in areas of mutual interest.
