Amsterdam: The Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) has entered into a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Arab Satellite Communications Organization, known as Arabsat, aiming to enhance the sustainability of satellite broadcasting. This significant agreement was signed during the IBC 2026, an international exhibition held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU is focused on developing advanced business continuity services. These services are designed to bolster the efficiency and resilience of satellite broadcasting networks. The agreement aims to improve the reliability and sustainability of media and operational processes while ensuring a heightened state of readiness to adapt to various circumstances and changes.
The signing ceremony was a notable event, attended by several officials and representatives from both the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and Arabsat, marking a new chapter in cooperation between the two organizations.
