Riyadh: The Team Saudi summer camp has kicked off in the cities of Almaty and Astana, Kazakhstan, bringing together 268 male and female athletes from a wide range of sports. This is part of a comprehensive preparation program aimed at nurturing Saudi sporting talent and enabling athletes to excel in regional and international competition.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the camp serves as preparation for the Asian Youth Games, set to take place in Bahrain this October. It includes athletes from seven sports: weightlifting, judo, karate, taekwondo, boxing, wrestling, and track and field.
The camp also features a series of accompanying programs, including direct meetings with international Olympic champions, specialized workshops, and interactive discussion sessions. These activities are designed to foster experience exchange among participants and cultivate a spirit of teamwork and collaboration.
