Johannesburg: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concluded its participation in the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance Summit (G20 YEA 2025), hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa, from September 18 to 22. The Saudi delegation was led by Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Entrepreneurship Vision Association and Saudi Sherpa Abdulaziz Al-Saif.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi pavilion recorded notable success during the summit, drawing the attention of participating delegations, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers from around the world. It received strong engagement from international representatives with the entities and programs presented.
The delegation hosted workshops and dialogue sessions highlighting key national initiatives and programs supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. Several agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed with international entities, reinforcing cooperation and strategic partnerships in economic fields.
Al-Saif stressed that the Kingdom's participation reflects the leadership's commitment to supporting and empowering young Saudis while showcasing their success stories on the global stage. He added that the strong interaction with the Saudi pavilion and the agreements signed demonstrate the advanced position of the Kingdom's entrepreneurship ecosystem and its role in building a diverse and sustainable economy.
The summit's closing session witnessed the handover of the G20 YEA presidency to the European Union, which will host the next summit in 2026. The event concluded with broad recognition of the strong organization and impactful outcomes achieved this year.
