Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has achieved the highest global growth rate in international tourist revenues during the first quarter of 2025, marking a significant increase compared to the same period in 2019.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Saudi Arabia also secured the third position globally for the growth rate of international tourist arrivals in the first quarter of 2025. Additionally, the Kingdom ranked second in the Middle East for the same metric.
The report highlights that the Kingdom experienced a 102% growth in international tourist arrivals during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2019. This growth far exceeds the global growth rate of 3% and the Middle Eastern rate of 44%, further cementing Saudi Arabia's stature in both the global and regional tourism sectors.
