Harbin: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today officially received the flag of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), marking its position as the host of the 10th Asian Winter Games NEOM 2029. This event will make Saudi Arabia the first country in West Asia to host this significant continental sporting event.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the flag was presented to Saudi Arabia during the closing ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games. The ceremony took place at the Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center and was attended by prominent figures, including Chinese Premier Li Qiang, officials and representatives from 45 Asian countries, and several global sports figures.
Minister of Sport, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and Head of the Saudi Delegation for the Games, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, received the Asian flag from Olympic Council of Asia Vice President Timothy Fok.
