Saudi Arabia to Highlight Sustainable Rural Development Experience

Rome: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef), is participating in the First Global Exhibition of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The event is taking place at Parco di Porta Capena in Italy's capital, Rome, from October 10 to 13, under the theme 'From Seeds to Foods.'

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Reef program's participation reflects Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to enhance its global leadership in supporting and developing sustainable agricultural sectors, empowering small farmers, and promoting rural products in international markets.

During the exhibition, Saudi Reef will highlight the Kingdom's experience in rural community development, showcasing its most notable statistics and achievements in supporting small farmers. The program will also present key beneficiary sectors, including Saudi coffee, natural honey, aromatic plants, and others.

Moreover, the Saudi pavilion will work on strengthening trade partnerships and foster connections with experts and specialists in sustainable agriculture from around the world.

A key feature of the pavilion will be special gift packages for visitors containing Saudi coffee, underscoring the Saudi heritage in coffee cultivation and preparation and showcasing its cultural and economic value. Visitors will also have access to informational materials and direct engagement with the pavilion's representatives.
