Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation of the Israeli Knesset's demand to impose control over the occupied West Bank and the occupied Palestinian Territories, deeming it a blatant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry stated that such provocative actions by Israeli authorities undermine efforts to achieve peace through a two-state solution and demonstrate a commitment to sabotage and destruction.
The Kingdom rejects the violations by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people and their rights, particularly the right to self-determination. It calls on the international community to take decisive action to enforce UN resolutions supporting the Palestinian people's right to live with dignity in an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
