According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia marked a major advancement in defense localization at the World Defense Show 2026 by signing 60 deals valued at SAR33 billion. This event was pivotal for the introduction of the HEET Program by SAMI Land Company, which showcased the first fully Saudi-designed and manufactured armored vehicles. The launch of the SAMI Land Industrial Complex, the largest integrated defense facility in the region, further underscores the Kingdom's focus on industrial depth.
In parallel, Saudi Aramco successfully achieved a 70% local content milestone through its iktva program, reinforcing the Kingdom's industrial resilience.
