San Diego: The Saudi National Football Team will begin its 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup campaign with a Group D match against Haiti in the opening round. The tournament, co-hosted by the United States and Canada from June 14 to July 6, will see the Saudi squad play its debut match tomorrow at 3 a.m. KSA time at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this marks Saudi Arabia's first official participation in the Concacaf Gold Cup, joining a select group of invited teams from outside the region. This participation underscores the Kingdom's efforts to expand its presence in continental and international football.
Additionally, it represents a critical step in enhancing the national team's technical readiness for future competitions, particularly the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
