Saudi Arabia Praises UN Resolution on Iranian Aggression

Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s welcome of the unanimous adoption by the United Nations Human Rights Council of a resolution addressing the impact on human rights of the unjustified Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry noted that the adoption of the resolution by consensus during the council’s 61st session reflects the international community’s unified rejection of the Iranian attacks and its condemnation of such acts as grave violations of human rights.

‘The Kingdom reiterates its condemnation of the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom and countries of the region, which constitute a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a clear breach of international charters and law,’ the ministry said in a statement. ‘It also stresses that t
