Salvador: Deputy Minister of Culture for International Cultural Relations Eng. Fahd Al-Kanaan met on Saturday with Portuguese Secretary of State for Culture Maria de Lurdes Craveiro in Salvador, Brazil, on the sidelines of the 5th G20 Culture Ministers' Meeting. The meeting focused on strengthening cultural relations between Saudi Arabia and Portugal, highlighting several key areas for collaboration. According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing partnerships in sectors such as libraries and performing arts. Both officials emphasized the importance of scientific research, collaboration in long-term museum loans, and the promotion of Islamic art. Additionally, they explored opportunities for exchanging knowledge and expertise to further enrich cultural ties between the two nations.
