Saudi Arabia Participates in 8th International Symposium of Russia

Saudi sculptor and member of the Saudi Art Association (SAA) Saad bin Ali Al-Ahmari participated in the 8th International Symposium of Russia, whose activities were launched on September 1- 15 at Shukhov University in Belgorod, Russia, themed “Symbolism of Communication between Peoples.”.

 

Al-Ahmari said that his participation in the event, which brought together more than 13 artists from around the world, including from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Syria, in addition to artists from Russia, aimed to transfer and exchange expertise and artistic experiences, and present his artistic works, whether by sculpture or formation on stone and wood, and to express the Saudi heritage and culture in general, and the Asir region in particular. He said he participated in an artistic work focusing on the structures of castles in Asir, which has been famous for since ancient times and symbolizes the originality of the art of building palaces in Asir.

 

The artists who took part in this gathering aimed to display their artistic creativity and convey the sublime message among people through effective communication and learning about different cultures around the world, in addition to introducing the world to Arab art and authentic cultural heritage.
