Yanbu: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated a central kitchen in the Gaza Strip to provide food security for the Palestinian people there.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the kitchen was launched in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage as part of the Saudi fundraising campaign and will produce 24,000 hot meals daily during Ramadan 1447 AH. The initiative is specifically targeting displaced families in the regions of Deir Al-Balah and Al-Qarara, with an aim to distribute a total of 3.6 million meals.
Beyond addressing immediate relief needs, the central kitchen also provides employment opportunities for 40 local workers and maintains adherence to international health standards. KSrelief Supervisor-General Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah emphasized that this project continues Saudi Arabia's efforts through extensive air, sea, and land bridges, demonstrating the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis and supporting the most vulnerable groups, including women and children.
