Saudi Arabia Launches 100 Multilingual Awareness Centers in Grand Mosque During Hajj Season

Mecca: In a significant development to enhance the Saudi corridor's status within the Grand Mosque, the Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophets Mosque has initiated the establishment of a multilingual awareness center in the Saudi corridor. This pioneering effort aims to support awareness centers that serve the visitors and pilgrims to the Grand Mosque, enriching their spiritual experience by distributing religious and interpretative books, as well as supplications, in various languages. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the President of the Religious Affairs Department at the Grand Mosque and the Prophets Mosque, highlighted the strategic decision to inaugurate the awareness center in the Saudi Corridor, reflecting its esteemed position. He stated that the Saudi Corridor is not only a physical architectural marvel but also represents a moderate Islamic message, promoting tolerance and moderation, thereby enhancing its significance. The Presidency has aligned with its operational plan for the Hajj season 1446 AH to expand the enrichment pathways of the awareness centers in multiple languages within the Grand Mosque. During this Hajj season, over 100 enrichment awareness centers will be activated in the Grand Mosque's courtyards, catering to the diverse linguistic needs of pilgrims.
