Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided $200,000 in financial support to the Islamic Committee of the International Crescent (ICIC), affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the contribution to the ICIC budget was delivered by Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr. The handover took place during a meeting at the Embassy headquarters with ICIC Executive Director Dr. Mohamed Hamad Elasbali. During the meeting, Dr. Elasbali reviewed the committee's activities at both the Islamic and international levels.
