Cairo: In a formal signing ceremony at the Saudi Embassy in Cairo, Deputy Ambassador Khalid Al-Shammari delivered 60,000 sacrificial animals to Egypt and Palestine, with 30,000 allocated to each nation, received by Egypt's Major General Mohamed Reda and Palestinian Ambassador Diab Al-Louh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the delivery was overseen by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi (Adahi). Launched in 1983, this project provides an organizational framework to manage the logistics and hygiene of the ritual meat distribution, ensuring it reaches those in need equitably.

Adahi Supervisor General Saad Al-Wabel noted that the project now reaches beneficiaries in approximately 26 Islamic countries. This structured approach guarantees the sustainability of its impact, facilitating the delivery of aid both within the Kingdom and to international communities.

Al-Louh expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the annual support provided to the Palestinian people. Similarly, the Egyptian representative commended the Kingdom's leadership for its ongoing contributions to the Arab and Islamic nations, highlighting the project as a symbol of regional solidarity and progress.
