Saudi arabia: Saudi Arabia condemned illegal Israeli measures against Palestinians during an interactive dialogue Thursday on the high commissioner's report on the occupied Palestinian territory. The permanent mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations office and other international organizations in Geneva participated in the dialogue, held as part of the 61st session of the Human Rights Council. According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia's permanent representative, Ambassador Abdulmohsen bin Khothaila, delivered the Kingdom's statement, condemning the decision by Israeli occupation authorities to designate lands in the West Bank as so-called 'state land.' This move, the ambassador stressed, forms part of plans aimed at imposing a new legal and administrative reality in the occupied West Bank, undermining efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region. Moreover, Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the Israeli forces' demolition of buildings belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), calling on the international community to hold Israel accountable for such actions and for its ongoing violations and crimes against international relief organizations. The ambassador emphasized Saudi Arabia's categorical rejection of these unlawful measures, which constitute a grave violation of international law, undermine the two-state solution and infringe on the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent and sovereign state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with east Jerusalem as its capital.
