Riyadh: On the occasion of the Eighth Extraordinary Session of the General Conference of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), held in Tunisia, Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr delivered a speech on behalf of Minister of Culture, Chairman of the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and President of ALECSO's General Conference Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in the speech delivered on his behalf, Prince Bader extended his greetings and appreciation to ALECSO for its efforts and highlighted the role of Arab countries working together under the organization's umbrella to serve Arab societies in the fields of education, culture, and science, as well as to unify efforts to strengthen Arab identity and preserve its heritage.
He affirmed that the Kingdom's presidency of ALECSO's General Conference values the efforts of the Arab member states of the organization to support joint Arab action, keep pace with global transformations, and develop policies and programs that contribute to building an Arab individual capable of creativity and competition.
Additionally, he noted that the Kingdom's presidency of ALECSO's General Conference supports the resolutions and recommendations issued by the conference, with their orientations that strengthen cooperation and integration among the brotherly states.
