Saudi arabia: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed its support for the launch of the Global Alliance for South-South and Triangular Cooperation, highlighting its role in fostering integration and minimizing overlap while respecting the national priorities of countries involved.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation, Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Alwasil, emphasized that Saudi Vision 2030 aligns closely with the goals of South-South cooperation. Key areas of alignment include economic diversification, digital transformation, innovation, sustainability, youth empowerment, and the engagement of the private sector.
Dr. Alwasil highlighted the contributions of the Saudi Fund for Development, which has supported and financed development projects and programs in over 100 developing nations across various critical sectors. He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to collaborating with member states, the United Nations, and other partners to bolster cooperation and achieve development that is prosperous, sustainable, and inclusive.
