Riyadh: Saudi Arabia, represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), and Senegal, represented by the National Office for the Fight against Fraud and Corruption, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on corruption prevention and cooperation to combat transnational crimes linked to corruption.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU aims to strengthen institutional cooperation, facilitate the exchange of information and expertise, build capacities, and develop specialized practices in integrity protection and anti-corruption efforts, in line with the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in combating financial crimes and cross-border corruption, and to share expertise and best practices in support of transparency and governance principles.
