Kigali: The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) and the Rwanda Private Sector Federation have signed an agreement to create a joint Saudi-Rwandan Business Council, aiming to enhance economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Rwanda.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed during the Saudi-Rwandan Business Forum held in Kigali, which was attended by a high-level Saudi delegation led by Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Chairman Hassan Alhwaizy. This forum provided a platform to explore investment opportunities in Rwanda, with a particular focus on sectors such as tourism, mining, and construction. Strategies to boost trade and investment volumes between the two nations were also discussed.
During the visit, the Saudi delegation engaged with key Rwandan ministers, including those responsible for finance, economy, and agriculture. The discussions centered around exploring investment opportunities in various sectors, including agriculture, smart cities-such as health cities-real estate, and the Green City Kigali initiative.
