Kuwait City: General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) President Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the State of Kuwait to enhance cooperation in civil aviation. The agreement was finalized on Wednesday, marking a significant step in bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kuwaiti representation was led by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Head Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah. The signing took place with Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled present, coinciding with an official visit to Kuwait.
The MoU is designed to foster collaboration in technical, administrative, regulatory, operational, and technological aspects of civil aviation, with an emphasis on improving aviation safety and security. The agreement aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to position the country as a global aviation and air transport hub.
Additionally, a bilateral meeting was conducted during the signing ceremony to explore mutual interests and further cooperation in civil aviation. The visit underscores ongoing efforts to broaden international collaboration and share expertise in the civil aviation sector.
