Paris: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha and a delegation from Saudi Arabia's technology, innovation, and space ecosystem held a series of meetings in Paris with leading research institutions, investors, and advanced technology companies as part of the Kingdom's efforts to solidify its role as a global hub for innovation and emerging technologies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister began with a working session alongside Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of France's National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Professor Antoine Petit. Both sides explored potential partnerships in deep technologies and initiatives to empower researchers and innovators in both countries.
During a visit to Enchanted Tools, Alswaha reviewed the latest advancements in interactive robotics powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and discussed mechanisms for adopting such cutting-edge solutions in the Kingdom.
In another meeting, the minister met with Eurazeo Co-CEOs Christophe Bavi¨re and William Kadouch-Chassaing to explore ways to boost joint investments in the tech sector and support the expansion of Saudi startups into high-potential markets.
The visit concluded with a session with Publicis Groupe Chief Executive Officer Nigel Vaz focused on opportunities to globally promote Saudi digital content and integrate the creative and tech economies.
