London: The Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, hosted a reception on Saturday at the Royal Geographical Society in celebration of the Founding Day.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the reception included two panel discussions focusing on heritage preservation in Saudi Arabia through cross-sector collaboration and the role of heritage tourism in showcasing the Kingdom's rich cultural legacy.
The event also featured a Saudi heritage corner, where an exhibition displayed traditional attire from both past and present. Attendees were treated to live performances of folk music and enjoyed traditional Saudi coffee. An interactive photo booth offered guests the opportunity to explore the intricacies of traditional Saudi clothing, while commemorative gifts reflecting the identity of the Founding Day and Saudi heritage were presented.
The reception was attended by British government officials, heads of diplomatic missions, members of the diplomatic corps in the UK, media and cultural figures, as well as members of the embassy's attach©s and technical offices.
